Raphael and Casey bond while taking down bad guys while the other Turtles argue about whether or not he’s alive to find. If Old Hob has his way, he won’t be.
What they got right: The new origin is kind of growing on me and it appears the Foot (or ninjas in general) are involved. We also see Hob’s origin as well as why Raphael disappeared.
What they got wrong: The cartoons have the right idea about color-coding the Turtles’ masks. Unless you can see what weapon they carry or can guess from the way the talk it’s hard to tell which Turtle which and that’s distracting.
Recommendation: I think we have a good update to the series, even if it really didn’t need one after all this time. Still, it’s worth picking up.
The comic was good as a whole, but no one moment really stood out for me as a “Best Scene”.
