A question came up as to whether you like to have something in the background or not when you work. I don’t even like total quiet when I sleep, which is why I own a natural sounds machine for when I’m not using the air conditioner or humidifier (depending on the time of year). So even when I work I like something in the background. This is what I discuss not just when making comics but articles and videos as well.

Try zouk music and kizomba music (essentially the same thing except zouk is mostly sung in French and kizomba is mostly sung in Portuguese…also a few English words here and there in the songs) for background music. Zouk and kizomba are very peaceful, relaxing styles of music to listen to. Great to dance to also with a partner. For zouk, I recommend songs by Tina Ly.
