Game shows for adults tend to be either physical games or trivia games. Game shows for kids are more likely to combine the two, with a combination of cerebral and physical challenges for the kids to overcome. I think that makes them a bit more exciting while the adults’ are more relaxing.
Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge is a new game show for kids and combines thinking and physical skills. Ahmed Best, best known as Jar Jar Binks, portrays Jedi Master and instructor Kelleran Beq. Joined by droids AD-3 (voiced by Mary Holland and costumed by Gordon Tarpley) and LX-R5 (operated by Michael McMaster…fitting name), they lead three teams of two Padawans, either friends or siblings, through three challenge. Each team is eliminated until the final challenge to earn the title of Jedi Knight. But can they avoid the spirit of the Dark Side (Sam Witwer) that might tempt them to cheat? If so they may hear Yoda himself (Frank Oz) proclaim them Jedi Knights! Enjoy!
Will the Jedi order be restored by these young Padawans? Will someone take the easy path and make their challenge harder in the end? Will AD-3 ever get her high five? The series is available streaming on Disney+ and the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel. May the Force be with them!
Happy birthday, Tronix! Enjoy the day.
Thank you for all the work you do with Bwspotlight.

[…] did try doing a Star Wars-themed game show on YouTube, but it didn’t go any further than a few episodes. Maybe forget the drag queens […]
