“Yikes! It’s The Vikings!”
WRITER: Dan Abnett

What happens when your Battle Of Hastings reenactment group is plagued by Viking ghosts? Hope Scooby and the gang show up to deal with it. No solving for the audience (this franchise was not built on procedurals) but still a good story even though the happy ending seemed unlikely.
The second story has the gang dealing with a mad scientist…only he’s the client. They’re trying to stop a moat monster but get caught up in the scientist’s experiments leading to…a mind swapping story. Outside of having Shaggy retain Scooby’s vocal style while in his body (also Fred is in Velma’s body, Daphne in Fred’s and Velma in Daphne’s) and Velma getting to see without glasses for a little while nothing really comes out of the switch and the story isn’t all that interesting.
Overall this was a mediocre issue. It wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t that great. Not really a must own issue.
