Comic writer John Ostrander has been battling the eye-damaging disease glaucoma for years, and it appears the disease is winning. A website, Comix 4 Sight has been set up in the hopes of getting the money he needs for sight-saving surgery. (Folks in the comics industry are seldom rich.) They are looking for donations, but they also have a spot on eBay, where art has been donated by many artists, from Eric Jones to David Willis to Udon Studios and many others, including an interesting idea from Daredevil and Captain America writer Ed Brubaker.

With my income, and temporarily sub-par art skills, I have nothing to offer other than sending people to the site and hoping it brings them more funds. So if you can donate, want some great artwork, or always wanted to be horribly slaughtered in a comic, now is your chance–and all for a great cause!
