Tomorrow, Mythbusters begins their 8th fantastic season on the Discovery Channel. CNet’s “Geek Gestalt” reporter Daniel Terdiman had a chance to get a sneak preview as to what they’ll be blowing up this year

I love this show. The exploding things are just a bonus. Mythbusters features the above hosts as well as a second team, Tori, Kari and Grant, testing all kinds of myths, old sayings, and theories. The cast made their paychecks by creating special effects for Hollywood, and they use those skills to create some of the strangest machines to put myths to the test. The myths are sent to them by fans of the show, so audience participation has become a big part of the series.
