My previous Saturday Night Showcase was a review of the comic Revolution of the Mask, written by Linkara. There was one panel that I didn’t get to put in there from the second issue that I really wanted to show.

In the story, Gamma-117, a news “censor” who is having his mind open to a world beyond the robotic dystopia he lives in, has never heard of  a “superhero”, and asks the superheroes before him what the word means. Templar responds:

A superhero is an individual who fights crime and punishes wrongdoers. Usually while wearing a costume that hides their identity. Their origins can be farfetched or all too familiar. But be they forged in fire, by the sword, in pain, or in joy, they all seek the same thing–justice.”

I couldn’t put it better myself.
