This was a fun little comic I had planned for the end of the “Fists of Fury” tournament in the Friday Night Fights. The rules were that the fight had to feature a kick. However, none of the Shockwave fights that I could remember ended thusly, so my gimmick of using Shockwave in every fight wasn’t usable here. So I had him host the matches instead. 🙂

I had a narrative running where Shockwave was somehow using the tournament to find something, and that something was Spacebooger’s ship. (Thus implying that Fred’s comic character was behind the tournament, and not just Fred using his character as a screenname.) I tried matching Fred’s style as best I could (except I don’t know what fonts he uses in the comic), but you can still tell it’s me behind the pen, and I wrote it up and down to fit it in the post space and to match the FNF posting style.

Anyway, I ended up getting sick just before the final round, and ended up not finishing the story, although I did put up the fight and the strip afterwords.
