Looking for a better review than this one.

Wall-E #2

Boom! Kids (January 2010)

WRITER: J. Torres

ARTIST: Morgan Luthi

COLORS: Digikore Studios

LETTERER: Deron Bennett

EDITOR: Aaron Sparrow

Wall-E finds a mall and explores it. That’s pretty much it.

Look, if I didn’t need to do a quick post for this afternoon, I wouldn’t even do this review. It’s not a bad comic. The art is good and while the story seems cut in half due to the lack of dialog, I wouldn’t have any major complaints. The big problem is that you can’t really review a comic like this. I can do any synopsis because the plot is rather basic. It’s the details that make it work, and you have to read it to do that.

Unless something major happens in one of these comics, I’m probably not even going to try to review it, even if I pick it up. It’s a good comic, but not one that opens itself to a review post, at least in the current review format.
