I don’t know why this didn’t post when it should have. It’s up now!

Chat still doesn’t remember dating Peter, but the animals confirm his story so she’s confused. George gives Peter a temporary badge, thinking that if he’s called as a consultant to bring in the Silencer he might convince the cops that he’s one of the good guys. However, the Silencer is actually Chat’s friend Emma, and Spidey has to let her get away. He returns the badge to George. Also, Carter Torino reappears to warn Spidey about Bullseye.
What they got right: I like that George is trying to get Peter on the side of the angels in everyone’s eyes, and a confidant is something Peter has needed for years in every continuity (and would still have in the main universe if not for you know what).
What they got wrong: I’m kind of neutral about the whole “Chat forgets she was dating Peter/Spidey” thing, but with one more issue to go prior to the reboot, and I’m still thinking Emma has something to do with it, I hope we get an answer soon. Also, this Bullseye fight better be a big one since we keep setting it up. Oh, and this issues cover is a lie, as it’s Silencer/Emma taking center stage. (The solicit for next issue has a more accurate “cover”.)
Recommendation: Go grab the entirety of Tobin’s run quick before the renumber begins. I hope these events are still in continuity and we get more Peter/Chat in the new volume.

"And I didn't need to get them from a Cracker Jack box!"
