Violet rescues Dash with help from the Underminer. However, the aliens and the Parr parents follow and Violet is lost to lava…or over the edge of the building…or not at all as Dash ends up on the sidewalk, still grounded..or is he still fighting Mezmerella?
What they got right: There’s a plot twist I didn’t see coming. Also, using the Underminer (who appeared at the end of the movie, and in the spin-off video game, which is where I assume his back-story and “death” comes from) was a nice nod to continuity.
What they got wrong: Outside of dating/release issues and my eternal “multiple covers on a kids comic” complaint, nothing.
Recommendation: You know, I’m running out of ways to tell you people to read this comic, so you better be doing it by now!
