Bumblebee is still not happy about tricking Serena like he did, and when he learns that Skywarp is on his way to to get her and her father, and the control board for the badges, he runs back to rescue them. Skywatch learns of the Autobots’ deception, but Klonowski shows up to help Bumblebee. Bumblebee risks his spark to defeat Skywarp, Sanjay decides that Bumblebee isn’t like the robots that killed his wife during the invasion, the General is disgraced for his subterfuge, and Bumblebee gets rebuilt (no, not into Goldbug–he’s already a canon character on his own in the IDW Universe).

What they got right: This was a rather satisfying finale to the storyline. We get humans who realize the Autobots are on the good guys team, although not enough, and everything wraps up rather well. We also get some character growth from Bumblebee that I hope gets remembered in the main title.

What they got wrong: Why does Bumblebee end up with what appears to be his Movieverse vehicle mode, and why are they afraid to show it? I would have rather they went with his Classics design. And am I wrong to wish that the “A” Cover artists had drawn this comic instead of the regular artists? Or at least the colorist?

Recommendation: For the most part, this was an enjoyable mini-series with minor hiccups. Well deserving of my favorite Transformers character. Give it a look.
