Thanks to a namesake, I have nice, dark lines this week. Click on yon comic to learn what I’m talking about, and how I ran into a guy just like that. And now the news:
comics
- Darkwing Duck returns! Now we just need to bring the cartoon back as well as the comic. However, since Boom is making it instead of Marvel, no Spider-Ham crossover for me.
- DC Comics editor Ian Sattler tries to help James Robinson defend Cry For (In)Justice. He fails.
- I’m going to try to find time to see what else came out of Emerald City Comic-Con, but this was a busy week for me.
And unfortunately, that’s all the news I was able to collect this week, as time was not my own. I can however produce This Week’s Cracked: Where Aren’t They Now? 13 Overlooked Deaths of 2009. 13 celebrities whose death you may not have heard of in the press. And 2009 had a lot of deaths, didn’t it? I did find a website dedicated to reporting on celebrity deaths. Sorry to end on a bummer note, but hopefully next week will be a better week. Also, this may be another light week, as I still want to try out those new WordPress themes, and there are a few big article series I want to start working on. If I can keep a constant work schedule.
On the other hand, next week’s paycheck should be wicked huge, relatively speaking. 😀
Best Scene of the Week
Transformers: Bumblebee #4
At least he got repaired. Yeah, personal preference. This will also be another light reading week, so check the review of the Terra trade on Friday.
