Remember when I posted some homemade posters of the Pet Avengers (done in the style of the “Heroic Age” Avengers posters)? Well, I guess they weren’t so forgotten. In the pages of the Super Hero Squad comic I reviewed earlier today I actually found an official promo for Frog Thor.
Yeah, I can see what they were doing with the “ribbit ribbit” line, because humans can’t hear the Pet Avengers talk, but I still like mine better.
Although their formatting was cleaner, but I was working from a template that hadn’t planned on “Pet” being in the title. It’s a better motto for “Throg”. Now if it had been Lockjaw, even the Pet Avengers don’t hear him speak (like in my post), so I could deal with that. So I still think I did it the right way.
