I deleted the previous post and just updated the first maintenance post, but it seems to have messed up the RSS at a couple sites who host my RSS feed, so I threw this one together. No new posts until Monday (see previous article–the one that’s up I mean–with the Best Scene as well), and I think I will stick with this theme for a while. I miss the “alert”, and the custom header, so don’t be too surprised if I switch back at some point, but I like the look of this much better. It’s more relaxed, which should be interesting at my next angry rant. 🙂

You’ll note a few new RSS feed changes of my own. Comic Coverage and Always Bet On Galactus moved to my blogroll since they stopped updating, but are still a good visit. The Comics Of Rhodey also finished, but since I think all of those articles can be found on his political blog, The Colossus of Rhodey (which doesn’t fit the mission of the blog–at least Big Hollywood is usually also about the entertainment media), I didn’t put that one up, with only a few articles before he decided he couldn’t run both blogs.

Added to the feed are both Art & Story streams (now they just need to separate the “Supreme” feed from the main feed, unless that’s their plot to get you to pay for the bonus Supreme podcasts. :D) and Atop The Fourth Wall, rather important blogs to follow my interest. Also added as I said I would is Crisis on Earth Prime, a blog that does the same with my RSS feed, and has some good information connected to the Spotlight’s mission. (EDIT: Also moved Game Overthinker from the blogroll to the RSS feeds.) Give them all a lookover. You won’t be disappointed.

Back to the blogroll, where some new comics were added: Moon Freight 3 may not be the best drawn comic, but it’s rather amusing so you should read it. The Lightbringer appearing here should be obvious to you, as it’s another Linkara product. But while I think you should check out all the webcomics on the list, the best one there is without a doubt Sean Wang’s Runners. Its awesomeness is without comparison. If Cember doesn’t end up on your list of best characters ever, we have so little in common!

Then there are the additions of my Vodpod, ImageShack, and YouTube (no videos uploaded or anything, but you can check out my favorites list) pages added to the deviantART page, which are now in the “BW Beyond” section. More shameless self-promoting will hopefully soon follow.

I also moved some stuff around, so site navigation is on the right sidebar and the feeds and links are on the left. (Vigilance has a center sidebar, and then you could have a left and right sidebar under it. Dark Wood doesn’t.) It looks neater than the way I threw it together before, and it is one of the things I wanted to fix even if I kept the Vigilance theme. New are the tag cloud (usual discussion topics), the ability to subscribe by e-mail, and some recent comments posted by other readers. Let’s see how well that affects readership.

So while I haven’t set up everything yet, the big overhaul is out of the way. Tomorrow I’ll be fixing up my living space a bit, but there will be new stuff on Monday. Any thoughts?
