I won’t be taking part in this week’s tournament, due to vacation time, but Spacebooger has announced the latest tournament in the Friday Night Fights.
So what are the rules? Actually, “Minimum Clonage” is simply a 12 round fight. The only rule is that you can’t use the same character more than once in the same tournament. For example, I can only use Shockwave once in the 11 rounds (12 if I do the bonus round) I’ll be taking part in. On the surface, this sounds pretty easy, but think about it. Any fight we use in this tournament we won’t be able to use in the future, even if it matches a future theme. That would be repeating yourself. So finding 12-13 fights that you hope won’t be part of a future theme may end being rather tricky.
(Then there’s me deciding how I’m going to do the logo for this tournament. This isn’t an easy theme to come up with a logo for.)
So I’ll see you all in Round 2, but others will still be taking part in Round 1 tonight, so…
