Marvel Adventures: Super Heroes v2 #1
Yes, I know it doesn’t say this is volume 2 because Marvel and DC abandoned volume numbers years ago. Still, it’s volume 2 to me, and that’s what I’m going with.
Marvel Comics (June 2010)

As Tony and Captain America make the Avenger’s case to various law enforcement and government organizations, Sue, Vision, Thor, and Nova go after Magneto (what, no X-Men?) and his Brotherhood, who have somehow gained the ability to mutate statues.
What they got right: Paul Tobin is back to form in his writing here. It’s a silly plot (and when did Magneto gain the ability to mutate inanimate objects?) played straight, but that’s what I loved about MA: Avengers so I’m happy with it. The art is good, with some minor hiccups. The coloring is good…
What they got wrong: …even if there are a few too many shadows. And I do want to know at least HOW Magneto pulled his scheme off. And does Nova get his Twitter account? That would be cool to see an actual Twitter feed, even a fan one like the Thing‘s Twitter. My biggest complaint, though? Why are they still “featuring” heroes on the cover that not only aren’t the feature hero of the story (which hasn’t been how the title worked since Tobin rebooted the title in the last have of “volume 1”) but are barely in it? Tony shows up in the armor when addressing the UN, but that’s it!
Recommendation: Ignore the covers, and you still get a great story. Go get you some.

Had that been a glazed donut, Nova wouldn't have even gotten a warning. The God of Thunder loves his glazed donuts, you know.{click for full-size}
