Vacation’s over, and I’m back in the fight. So what’s Spacebooger‘s decree this time? Simply don’t use the same character again. That’s it. Personally, I think it’s a devious plot to reduce what we can use in future themes. “Oh, you can’t use that fight for this theme, you already used it for the mostly themeless fight before. Yes, I know you don’t have anything else but it’s too late now, sucker! BWAHAHAHAHAHAcoughcoughhack….”

Still, when else would I use WildC.A.T.S. Adventures, based off the CBS cartoon (later picked up by USA Network–people forget it was on CBS first)? Yes it was one of those comics that was based off of a cartoon based of a comic. I liked the show when it aired (although the intro will be another nominee in the “My Not-So-Favorite Intros” series in the near future), but I haven’t seen it in a long time so I can’t say I still like it. I’ll let you know if I do. But we still get a huge guy battling a guy with four arms. That’s got to be worth something?

Round 2 of 12

Round 1 for me. 🙂

The Battlefield: WildC.A.T.S. Adventures #2 (Image/Wildstorm, November 1994)

The Promoters: David Wise (original teleplay, “Hearts of Steel”), Jeff Mariotte (script), Ty Templeton (layouts), Art Nicols (finished art), Richard Starkings and Comicraft (lettering), Ben Fernandez, and Wendy Fouts (colorists, with “In Color”, separations)

So Maul and Karillion (seriously, that’s what you name your four-armed fuzzy cyclops?–not that I have anything better, mind you) are battling on a cliff.

I don't know who I feel sorrier for, his eye doctor or his manicurist.

So you know that means somebody is going over, right?

And to think he passed up a half-off sale of water wings.

"Write when you hit bottom!"

Don’t worry, kids. I’m sure the rocks broke his fall.
