Creatures from the fantasy realm are being forced into our world, with the evil monster right behind them. Aided by some of the zoo animals, the Pet Avengers and mythical beings are able to destroy him. Lockjaw helps return the mythical creatures home, hoping that Damiella the unicorn can convince the Golden One, ruler of their world, to reform before it’s too late. However, upon returning to the fantasy realm, our heroes are met with a whole army of wooden monsters!
What they got right: Where do I start? The artwork is great (outside of the odd facial expression by the yeti), the characters, even Ms. Lion (for a change), were well written, and I love the comedic moments with the zookeepers.
What they got wrong: If your going to have Ms. Lion “make dog water”, at least have him do it on the monster!
Recommendation: You haven’t been picking this up already, not even for your kids? Why not?
