Under attack by the Initiative controlled Decepticon Ransack, Galloway calls on NEST for help. Skids and Mudflap save the day, and when NEST arrives, they turn up an empty Sector Seven base. The twin Autobots are sure it has something to do with the All-Spark. (Yeah, they figure it out just because it’s the old Sector Seven HQ. The dumbest characters in the Movieverse. Sorry, that should be in the review part, but that’s kind of glaring, isn’t it?). We also learn that the Initiative’s leader has a score to settle with the Fallen, whose head he keeps locked up! (At least I think it’s the Fallen.) Soundwave’s forces have fallen to the Initiative, and he is forced to turn to the Autobots for help.
What they got right: I’m forced to give Furman credit here. The stories come together, and only the important stuff is focused on. He actually makes Skids and Mudflap, the biggest morons in the Movieverse, seems somewhat intelligent while still pulling off the “cool” (to them) banter, but still making them as annoying as they should be to stay in character.
What they got wrong: Why pull Soundwave away from the Autobots last issue if he’s just going to ask for their help this issue? Waste of time. Also, is that the Fallen on the final page or Frenzy (who should be in the “care” of Simmons)? I can’t really tell, but that’s the Movie designer’s fault, really.
Recommendation: I’m not really sure here. It doesn’t suck as bad as this mini has (although by Furman’s standards, he’s done worse), but it’s not all that spectacular, either. You’re going to have to judge for yourself.

"I just wanted a cup of sugar."
