Sonic forms a truce between the Wolf Pack Nation and Felidae when he figures out that an outside party is responsible for the Onyx’s theft. The Legionized wolves and felines aren’t prepared to have the two armies at their doorstep and beat a retreat, with Big recovering Sally and the Onyx. Just as this adventure has a happy ending, Rotor gets bad news that his people are again under attack.
What they got right: It’s nice to see a story that can wrap-up in less than four chapters. This two-parter was quick, but worked out the story rather well. The art is up to the usual high-standard of this comic. And hey, a cover that gives you an idea about the story inside! Those still happen?
What they got wrong: I can’t think of anything. All references have a caption pointing to what issue the event took place (remember when comics did that?), and I wouldn’t mind seeing more of the Wolf Pack and Felidae in a future story.
Recommendation: I’ve been enjoying this series since my return and look forward to the next issue. I recommend you doing the same.

I don’t know…
I liked the Sonic: SatAM, but I could never get into the comics.
One of the ones I remember that I REALLY didn’t care for was the whole “Fiona Fox is an evil bitch” arc. I don’t know what it was but I just found the choice of making this character suddenly turn into a heartless monster for no real good reason, to be annoying. That and she slapped Tails. =(

I had dropped out of the comic long before then, when they were trying to shoehorn three stories into a regular sized comic. I finally got back into it recently, so I only knew Fiona when she was a robot intended to trick Tales into getting his heart broken. That was a loooooooooong time ago, so I don’t even know when she showed up. All I know is that she broke Sonic and Sally up and then started dating his evil universe counterpart, Scourge. Now she’s the new head of the Destructix, which is a group I hadn’t heard of until their recent appearance in Sonic Universe.
