Emily and Lau’Tan escape the Advocate with help from Matthew. Meanwhile, the Doctor and the others learn the secret of the Kol-Ne-Wah temple before being attacked by the Advocate’s forces, who have also drawn the rogue Torchwood agent to their side in the struggle. The Advocate then reveals her allies to be Tef’aree, the same race that Emily met when the Advocate attacked the Tardis a couple arcs ago!

What they got right: Oh, what a tangled story we weave, but Lee does a great job spinning it. All the pieces are coming together for the grand finale. It’s everything Davies got right and none of what he got wrong.

What they got wrong: The Tef’aree don’t have the same…aura?…about them that they did when they first appeared, but they, like the rest of the art, are still drawn well.

Recommendation: I’m calling the whole run of the ongoing a must for any Whovian, especially fans of #10. It’s always a great read.
