NEST and the Autobots finally catch up with the Initiative, as we learn what sent Carter over the edge. Now Optimus must team with Fortress, one of the Fallen‘s old searchers, in getting rid of the unstable fake All-Spark before the Earth is caught in the explosion.
What they got right: Outside of Ratchet being colored wrong, you can tell who is who in the battle sequences.
What they got wrong:…as long as it’s an Autobot we already know. The legion of controlled Transformers fair about as well as you’d expect for the Movieverse design. Sure, we finally get a reason for Carter going Circuit Breaker on us, but if we’re supposed to mourn Fortress’ sacrifice, that becomes a bit difficult since we’re not given the chance to really give a slag about him.
Recommendation: If you’re not a Transformers or Movieverse completest, you really don’t need to get this series. There was only one issue I found even passable readable.

Is Optimus asking for a hug?
