• With the announcement of “Majestic Knight” added to Crossoverkill, we only need one more reveal before the new superhero webcomic crossover begins.
• Here’s an interesting article I learned about this week featuring various takes on the Batman outfit. Many of which makes no sense whatsoever, but that’s the 90’s for you.

television/movies

• A nice retrospective on The Muppet Show.
• There’s a new video site up, Toonzaki, that could be the “Fancast” of anime.

• Extra Credits writer James Portnow and some other game creators discuss stories in games as part of a panel at PAX 2010.

• Here’s a cool little homemade R2D2 that doubles as a game deck. Personally, I would replace the PSP with a Nintendo DS.
• The Clutter Report: Taking a break from toy reviews until I get the next set ready to go. This week I go through my junk drawer. Just because it’s a junk drawer, that doesn’t mean it can’t be a little organized.
• This Week’s Cracked: 6 Absurd Movie and TV Plot Twists (That Really Happened) warns us we may have been separated from our evil twin at the hospital, thus leading to mistaken identity. (Just not all at the same time.) And that’s only 3.
• I usually END with the Clutter Report and Cracked links, but this week is special. The BW Media Spotlight (which would be me, but that doesn’t sound official and junk) would like to congratulate Internet Personality Vangelus on getting onto That Guy With the Glasses. One of the rare reviewers to be featured here as part of the Saturday Night Showcase, I’m curious to see if we’re getting toy reviews or if he’s bringing his talents to reviewing other things. I already posted in the forums that if toy reviews get a special section like “Blistered Thumbs” for video games, they should go with “Toybox”. 🙂
