Mr. Incredible and Frozone head underground to rescue Helen and Violet. There they find the Underminer is prepared to use the citizens of Metroville, including the Parr women (who are still in their secret identities) to power a new Magmomizer. Meanwhile, above ground Xerek hooks Mesmerella to a machine to boost her hypnotic powers.
What they got right: One one cover? Keep this up, Boom! The story and the collection of villains are up to usual standards as is the artwork. Tying the video game in works well and makes it canon.
What they got… Well, it’s not actually wrong, but now I want a comic adaptation of the Rise of the Underminer game, since I probably won’t have the opportunity to play it and I didn’t hear a lot of good things about the game anyway. Also, Dash sitting this one out? Darn.
Recommendation: Have I ever not recommended this comic?

Can't say I blame him.
Later Tonight: Why Batman Beyond #4 wasn’t today’s comic, which as I thought about it may not actually be as bad as my gut reaction told me. There will be spoilers aplenty, but I’m going to try and keep it short to post to ComiXology.
Tomorrow’s Comic> Iron Man 2: Agents of SHIELD one-shot.
