Sonic escapes the Special Zone and warns the current King about St. John and the former king’s plans. However, St. John has forged an alliance with a restored Ixis Naugus.
In a back-up story, Eggman restored Lien-Da.
What they got right: No King Max and St. John being the villain I think he is. Naugus is a character I like, so his return I’m happy about.
What they got wrong: I would still rather never see St. John again. And I know I missed a lot of issues, but I don’t remember him using magic.
Recommendation: Not to many of my personal bias buttons pressed, so I can recommend it again. Just barely, admittedly.
