Galvatron, Scourge, and Cyclonus travel to Gorlam Prime to find a dead world. Neither they, nor Jhiaxus, whom they find there, knows what happened. Galvatron uses his “Anti-Matrix” to restore them all before being attacked by Arcee and Hardhead.
What they got right: Since the “Coda” issues of All Hail Megatron brought him back, Galvatron showing up was inevitable. Abnett and Lanning do a great job with this story, at least in this intro issue. They’ve set up an interesting mystery and unlike other Galvatrons, this version isn’t a total loon.
What they got wrong: Great, just when we were able to put Furman’s desecration of Arcee behind us, the forced sex change victim is back. I’d rather just forget all about it. Also, there’s too many loose metal plates on the Transformers, like the artist is trying to emulate Don Figueroa’s current Transformers style.
Recommendation: This mini is up to a good start, but time will tell how well the story finishes up and what effect, if any, it will have on the main story.

At least he gave him fair warning, right?
