Thor and Valkyrie draw Nova into a mission to deliver a message to a disgraced Asgardian warrior. This is a test for Thor and Valkyrie as well, as they face numerous challenges to reach him. Nova really isn’t happy with any of it, especially the warrior’s punishment.
What they got right: I like Nova interacting with Thor and Valkyrie (and I won’t mind seeing them return the favor when something related to Nova’s outer space work comes into play–hint, hint). They make a good team-up.
What they got wrong: I really can’t complain about anything.
Recommendation: This is Tobin at his best, if not a bit low-key for him. Low-key for him is still a strongly recommended read.
