I think Kaboom is supposed to be the new name for BOOM! Kids, Boom’s kid-targeted line. At least you can tell it apart from the main line, even if they’re still shying away from “kids” in the title.

Gosalyn Quiverwing Quack and Honker Arrow Kid are attacked by Ammonia Pine, but are saved by Femme Appeal when she’s separated from Darkwing and Steelbeak. The duo find where FOWL’s prepared the ceremony to call Duckthulu (which has Launchpad under control now, with Morgana following. Unfortunately, Darkwing is betrayed (guess by who) and is served up to Duckthulu.
What they got right: Quiverwing in action, plus everything they’ve gotten right the entire series.
What they got wrong: What they’ve gotten wrong the entire series…no, wait, we have Quiverwing instead of Gozmoduck so nothing wrong.
Recommendation: My current favorite read of the month. Be sure to get it.
Darkwing knows how to use a villain.
