It's Captain America fighting neanderthals. Do you need a lame joke here? Really?

Marvel Adventures: Super Heroes V2 #15

Chat is on vacation when she comes across Captain America, who has come upon a cloning operation that is doing more than bringing back extinct species (which in and of itself is rather stupid.) The head scientist is secretly creating a Neanderthal army to conquer the world. With the aid of Chat’s ability to talk to animals, Cap is able to stop the scientist’s mad scheme (sadly only the conquering army one, not the “let’s frag up the ecosystem to bring back extinct animals” one).

What they got right: Captain America is fighting cloned neanderthals. Really, what more do you need? How about some actual continuity between Marvel Adventures titles, with Chat guest-starring and fighting the bad guys alongside Cap?

What they got wrong: The splash of Cap punching the head bad guy is too close and takes something out of the pic. Also, Chat has to cut Peter off because trouble starts. Usually Peter has to do that to her, and this is not even referenced?

Recommendation: If I didn’t have you at “Captain America and Chat fight neanderthals” then we really don’t have the same tastes in comics.

Sadly, I can’t point at one moment for a Best Scene nomination. This is really a concept win, although the art is very good.
