Doctor Who V2 #6
IDW Publishing (June 2011)
WRITER: Tony Lee ARTIST: Matthew Dow Smith COLORIST: Charlie Kirchoff LETTERER: Chris Mowry COVER “A” (shown): Tommy Lee Edwards (cover “b” is a photo cover, and the retailer incentive cover is by the comic’s artist team) EDITOR: Denton J. Tipton
Our heroes visit a pleasure planet where you can live out your fantasies (because that always goes well in sci-fi), but the space/time bending technology used to create is incompatible with the radiation leaking from a damaged Sonataran spaceship. The end result is the whole place going crazy, with the Doctor, Amy, and Rory trapped in different replicated time periods.
What they got right: The story is very Doctor Who with technobabble timewarp tech.
What they got wrong: Why does the Doctor insist that Rory take Amy’s last name instead of the other way around, as we humans tend to do? Why does the Doctor want to take what little masculinity Rory has?
Recommendation: I didn’t say a lot in this review, but this has the makings of a fun story. Recommend you check this out, especially if your a show fan.

It’s all about Pond, don’t you know?
If you want to take a pro-Rory stand, you could always say the Doctor is goading him into becoming the man he needs to be (same reason he pushes the Centurion suit on him).
