I think we need to fix the electric in the J&L studio.

Yes, the first post where Jake & Leon take official ownership of Sundays. Clicking on the comic still takes you to the behind the scenes page, also accessible through the “Jake & Leon archives” tab, where you can also see the first 84 strips. (I still have to work on that page, and put in a link to the Christmas specials.) You’d be surprised how long it takes to compile a list of articles every week, and I don’t have that kind of time these days. So Sundays will be all about the Jake & Leon comic, plus some stuff I’m doing and a few other things of interest, like “This Week’s Cracked” and “Best Scene of the Week”. I hope this works for every one. So what’s new this week?

  • The Clutter Reports: I know I was going to do the book report for Transformers: Exodus but with the extra work hours this week that wasn’t possible. Next time, hopefully, but I did review the Star Trek Phaser Pistol replica I picked up at Classiconn. (I will be going over those videos hopefully this week with stuff to post next week.) And it’s a video. I’m sorry.
  • Reviewers Unknown: I added some extra paragraphs to Thursday’s Starfire article (original seen here) since RU hasn’t been exposed to my thought that Crisis On Infinite Earth’s is a failed project.
  • This Week’s Cracked: Ever wonder if you’re missing a part of the story that might explain a minor or even major plot point? You could be right according to 7 Famous Movie Flaws That Were Explained in Deleted Scenes. Even the most annoying part to some computer geeks about Independence Day will make sense once you read this article.

Best Scene of This Week’s Reviews

For just being silly.

I was kind of surprised this week. Transformers‘s art was so bad (for a comic; the cover kind of worked, but the painted art style doesn’t work in sequential art, I’m sorry) I couldn’t use it, and while last week’s Richie Rich had a cool scene, I usually don’t use anthology stories, even if they have the same character. Even if I did, though, this one amused me the most so it would have won. Hopefully we’ll have more variety in the next round.
