I went with a modular design. If you watch the show, Pollo (I thought it was “PoIIo” because that’s how it’s pronounced and some fonts make the small “l” and capital “I” look the same…I hate that, and hope you followed that because this site’s current theme uses one of those fonts) helps Linkara review comics, maintain the ship and equipment, and even joins in the fights to save the multiverse. So I thought being able to switch components would be quite the asset. I also threw in a couple of fanboy things, like Doctor Who and Ghostbusters (I at least know we’re both fans of the Doctor), plus a gun that turns into a sword, which Lewis has said on History of Power Rangers is one of his favorite types of guns.
Will I win? Who knows? I had fun designing it, and if it does win I’d like to see what other modular components he would think up in future episodes and which ones of mine he’d add. The contest ends on Sunday, and the announcement should come after, so if you want to join, go for it. Although you understand I really can’t wish you luck on this one because I really want to win. OK, I still wouldn’t be me if I didn’t wish good luck to everyone. I just hope I have better luck than you. 😀
