Spike admits to Scrapper’s assassination, but plays on Prowl’s own questionable actions in the past. Meanwhile, Skywatch learns a secret about Ben Simpson, and the Autobots learn Swindle’s involvement. Jazz decides to blow up a Cybertronian tech depot and takes it upon himself to end the alliance between Earth and the Autobots.
What they got right: I can understand they’re trying to tie up loose ends since they want to move all the Transformers to Cybertron and away from Earth…
What they got wrong: …but taking things off of Earth already disappoints me, despite how badly Costa made it for them to stay there. And I’m not sure I’m thrilled with how those loose ends are ties up; although I suspected Simpson wasn’t what he appeared to be, it just felt they’re trying too hard to wrap up the Earth stories and set up their new direction.
Recommendation: If you haven’t been following all along, it’s still best to wait until the “Chaos” event is over. Personally, I’m less than thrilled with what they’re doing right now.
