Darkwing and Launchpad learn Negaduck’s connection to the slime after being trapped in an alternate dimension. Saving Morgana means bringing Negaduck back as well, but DW still does so and joined by Donald Duck, the heroes unite to defeat the villains once and for all.
What they got right: This being the…final…issue, they wrapped up all the loose ends in this title, from Morgana to the fate of Negaduck. Donald Duck gets an appearance, and I do love a happy ending.
What they got wrong: Parts of the resolution felt a bit rushed, like they needed…not really a full comic but a few more pages at least.
Recommendation: As I type this, the Dangerous Currency arc is going to be released in a trade this week. If you haven’t picked up the individual issues, you should get the trade if you’re a fan of these properties. I just wish Disney would let them continue.
I would have a Best Scene nomination, but decided the whole book, as part of the arc, would get the nomination and we don’t do that anymore.
