Garibaldi remembers why he gave up booze. Seriously, that's part of the arc.

Babylon 5 #6

DC Comics (July, 1995)

PREMISE/CREATOR: J. Michael Straczynski
WRITER: Tim DeHaas
ARTIST: John Ridgway
LETTERER: Tracy Hampton Munsey
COLORIST: Robbie Busch
ASSISTS: James McCann
EDITOR: Laura Hitchcock

Garibaldi and Keffer escape the crash and are on the run when the mysterious aliens who shot them down (we would currently know them as the Shadows but not when the comic came out or the story takes place). To pass the time, Garibaldi talks more about the time he met Sinclair, when a force brings down their ship, killing one of two other people with them and a sandstorm on the approach.

What they got right: The character models, while still a bit flat, match the actors, and the artist even made sure that Garibaldi looked right in the flashback portion of the story. The story itself mixes flashback and current events together well.

What they got wrong: Outside of the aforementioned flatness of the character models, nothing really.

Recommendation: A great companion piece to the series. This arc is highly recommended for show fans, especially if you’re a fan of Garibaldi and/or Sinclair.
