Davy Jones passes away

We knew eventually one of the Monkees would pass on. That Monkee is sadly my favorite, Davy Jones, who suffered a heart attack in his sleep. Jones was only 66 years old and still touring with fellow Monkees Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork. In his memory I present my favorite Monkees song.

And here is a more recent cover by the boys during their tour last year. Sadly it will be the final tour for the three (and Michael Nesmith doesn’t like to tour.)
