To be honest, I don’t know if Disney ever did a promotion with Hostess, but I’m pretty sure they have with Kellogg’s. No longer, I guess. Disney says that they won’t air commercials featuring “junk food” once their contracts ends. Considering some of the products that promoted The Avengers I find that amusing. I also asked Shawn Robare of the website Branded In The 80’s if he had any pictures of Disney-branded junk food.

Those seem pretty recent to me. And those are from a Disney theme park, maybe his recent trip to Disney World. Have they started banning the Disney-themed lollipops and cookies? Hmm? Actually, I’m getting hungry, let’s move on.

Tomorrow I’m making the final confirmation that I can go to ConnectiCon (we’ll see how flexible the new bosses are, as I have my entire convention list ready–unless I can somehow afford NYCC, which I rather doubt). Hopefully I can get the days off I want. I missed last year because I was broke. Hopefully things will work out this year.
