Another holiday trip gone wrong by pilot error, the TARDIS crew end up on a colony ship that is in the midst of being invaded, and apparently the Doctor is an old enemy of the mastermind behind the plot.
What they got right: I like the concept. Instead of going for some “Alien” ripoff it’s a simple invasion by slugs who have read the Ferengi guide to profit.
What they got wrong: Apparently Seth is an old enemy of the Doctor but even the TARDIS Wiki seems to have little idea who this guy is. Which is fine since I’m sure the Doctor has made plenty of enemies, including ones he hasn’t met yet in a current regeneration. However, nothing in this story requires him to be a foe of the Doctor. He could just be a smart guy who has heard of him or the Time Lords in general.
Recommendation: A rather good story that’s worth looking into.
