And if you go through the multiverse, I think there are more Superman shows and movies than Batman (also factoring in the movie serials), although the Dark Knight is catching up. Superman’s parents from both worlds die a lot, but (in the hands of a good writer) he isn’t as moody as Batman. Just an observation. Maybe it helps when it doesn’t happen in front of yo….oh, wait. Superboy had to watch his Earth parents die from a disease he himself exposed them to. Never mind.
