Since I’ve been recording panels at cons this year, here’s a new feature for the Spotlight. Obvious joke is obvious, moving on.

So you want to be a writer for television, movies, or the theater? Perhaps an audio drama? It’s not all fun and games. Geek comic and writer Karl Custer (better known by his stage name, Uncle Yo) and author C.J. Henderson (he wrote the second to last story from the Phantom Chronicles Chapter by Chapter review book) run you through how the producers and directors will run you through, and what to do when you’re finally “in”.

Don’t worry. The video can go full-screen. I tried loading it in the original HD. It was too big for Blip and uploading to YouTube took half a day just to get half up. I’m going to have to play games with future panels, and there were plenty more between ConnectiCon and Brass City Comic Convention. I don’t know what will happen with ComiCONN and Clasiconn.

You can check out Uncle Yo’s podcast and other things on his website. Learn more about the works of C.J. Henderson on his site.

(By the way, I’m the one who answered the TARDIS sound effect question. Useless knowledge pays off! Go me!)
