Searching for Mighty and Ray, who went missing in search of Mighty’s lost sister, Vector, Charmy, and Espio arrive in Mercia and end up fighting Legion members alongside the Mercian Freedom Fighters. Learning that Mighty and Ray had a similar encounter and went to find where Mighty’s sister was taken, the Chaotix members and their new allies plot to learn their fate…which is fine with Lord Hood, current head of the Mercian Dark Egg Legion.

What they got right: Of the Freedom Fighter groups, I think the Mercians, a take on Robin Hood right down to living in “Deerwood” Forest, is my favorite, as much as I enjoy the Downudas. So I like being able to see them again. I also like Vector, Mighty, and Espio, so as you can imagine I really like this team-up.

What they got wrong: I was hoping to see Rob O’ The Hedge again. Did something happen during my sabbatical from the Sonic titles?

Recommendation: This continues to be my favorite of the two Sonic titles and I look forward to the rest of the story. Verily, I dost recommend yon title.

Best Scene would have been the entire story of Mighty and Ray’s time with the Mercian Freedom Fighters. I like the way it was told.
