It Girl & The Atomics #5

“Dark Streets, Snap City” finale: “What Your Big Sister Done”

LETTERS: Crank!
COVER ART: Michael & Laura Allred

“ATOMICS” CREATOR: Michael Allred

Lala drags It Girl into the Dark Streets game for their final battle. Skunk and the Atomics try to go in to help but in the end it’s It Girl who must save the day.

What they got right: This was a satisfying finale for the story’s focus characters (except the villain of course). Skunk was able to get closure for his accidental murder, It Girl learns what’s really important and the bad guys lose.

What they got wrong: So if Lala is upset that she was killed by Skunk in her timeline (see previous issue and let me know if that makes any sense) why did she dismiss him so easily and only target It Girl? I don’t get her motivation, but then I know so little about these characters. Also, nobody wants to see Skunk’s naked fanny. We really don’t.

Recommendation: An extremely fun read that is well recommended. No Best Scene because the comic works best as a whole. I will be picking up more issues from this series.
