Sonic The Hedgehog #244

“Mobian Idol” turned out to be a very bad idea.

As Knuckles arrives in the Echidna homeland, he finds our heroes unconscious and devil dogs running loose. It turns out Thrash has taken advantage of the situation to get rid of the echidnas and our heroes are less than happy about it. And MechaKnuckles may not be out of the fight yet.

What they got right: Bringing Thrash in, due to his understandable but exaggerated hatred of the Echidnas, was a nice twist to the story. I do like seeing Knuckles work with Sonic and the gang.

What they got wrong: How many more distractions are we going to have before Team Fighters catches up with Eggman for the final battle? In some ways I’m rather enjoying the trip around Mobius, as I often do, but I also want Sally back.

Recommendation: Still loving this story, so give it a try.
