The guys finally make contact with Mighty and Ray, who are working undercover with the Sand Blasters to find his daughter among the local Legionized. Sure enough, Mighty’s sister, Matilda, is there but events her life has left her colder than when she was a robot. Meanwhile Jack is prepared to finish off the Legion once and for all.
What they got right: It’s an interesting twist when it comes to the Sand Blast “Freedom Fighters” and the Baron’s Legionized. The usual villains act more compassionate while the usual heroes are quite the scumbags. And they’re used well in this story. I also felt sorry for Mighty and for Ray in one scene.
What they got wrong: Second comic this week without complaints. This makes me happy.
Recommendation: No Best Scene nomination but a good comic over all. This series is well worth your time.
