Who else started reading a comic after their show/movie/audio drama/novel?

I get that comic fans and nostalgia may not be enough to keep good shows like Thundercats and Young Justice going, even if a number of fans aren’t, and that was one of the ideas I was tossing around for this week’s comic. However, why cancel the Young Justice comic book just because the show was canceled? There are some good stories and I didn’t see a lot of promotion for the comic. If the head writers couldn’t take the show any further, that’s one thing. But if Weisman had some more good ideas (and from the looks of the current finale story arc there might be) why not continue them in the comic? Use it to introduce young readers to these comics and when/if they get “too old for this kiddie crap”, there’s the more (too) adult stuff waiting to entertain them and give DC more money. Someday I wish they’d record and post one of their meetings to find out what goes on over there.

  • Reviewers Unknown: Liefeld’s Galactica resumes at Reviewers Unknown as I re-post my look at Richard Hatch’s three part filler story. Which was sadly better than the main story.

For the record I didn’t watch the Super Bowl tonight because I’m too busy and just not interested. As for the commercials, I’ll still watch them thanks to the internet and choose my favorites possibly for Tuesday. Tomorrow I’ll have my review of the new Power Rangers Megaforce, which was also almost this week’s comic but I would have ended up repeating myself between the comic and the article.
