L.A. Noir is a video game praised for it’s storytelling with mixed, but usually favorable (at least the reviews I’ve seen) opinions on the face motion capturing used to help the player decide if the character is lying. Released by the now defunct Team Bundi, the capture was done by Australia’s Depth Analysis, and so they have the audio recordings of the actors. And like any recording the actors occasionally flubbed their lines. So one day someone at Depth Analysis said “why not take those and make a little gag blooper reel?”. And so they did.
The only thing better are REAL bloopers, thanks to the power of game glitching.
This all reminds me, I need to play this game already. Darn lack of time.
