MacGyver: Fugitive Gauntlet #4
Image Comics (January, 2013)
WRITERS: Lee David Zlotoff (series creator) and Tony Lee ARTIST: Will Sliney COLORIST: Owen Jollands LETTERER: Aditya Bidikar COVER ART: Andie Tong & Ciaran Lucas CONSULTING EDITOR: John Potter
Held prisoner in Russia’s Chinese Embassy, MacGyver tries to get himself and his friends out, but one of those friends is still the enemy. As for “Crazy Ace”, he’s not happy that the contest has ended and becomes drawn into event as everybody is taken prisoner by Moscone.
What they got right: It’s a typical MacGyver escape plan. Which is why I like it so much.
What they got wrong: The scientific principles may be sound, but the validity of the results are still something I’d like to see Mythbusters tackle. Of course, that’s normal for the series.
Recommendation: There may not be a lot to say here, but if you’ve been following the series thus far it’s worth having. If you haven’t, I recommend getting caught up first.
