The Turtles find themselves drawn into the Krang/Neutrino war and Earth may be more than Krang’s current hangout. But when Krang’s forces kidnap the Neutrino princess Mikey springs into action.

What they got right: It’s the Turtles destiny to end up on an alien world at least once a run. While I can see why some fans might have issue with the updated Neutrino they’ve kind of grown on me. The moment with Splinter and the human friends was a fun moment and in keeping with Yoshi/Splinter’s history.

What they got wrong: So here the Technodrome isn’t Krang’s base but just some ecology-altering device. Kind of disappointing. Also, the Utrom aren’t nice guys anymore. Also disappointing.

Recommendation: This continues to be a decent reworking of the franchise with only minor fan nitpicks. Worth picking up.

Mikey has issues with brains who ride in a robot's stomachs.
