Are you tired of me using this comic? Too bad. There’s one more and we’ll finally say good-bye to Ram-Man in the Friday Night Fights…or at least this…actually, he’s not in this fight. If you saw my review of He-Man Meets Ram-Man earlier this week then you already know what’s about to happen. He-Man’s about to kill something, at it won’t be at the expense of decent characters. (Looking at you, recent DC miniseries.)

“Assassin” round 5
The Battlefield: Masters of the Universe mini comic (DC/Mattel; 1982) “He-Man Meets Ram-Man”
The Promoter: Gary Cohn (writer), Mark Texeri (penciler), Tod Smith (inker), and Anthony Tolin (colorist)
So when He-Man was forced to tangle with Ram-Man he was on his way to a village where a monster has been plaguing them. Well, I’m sure He-Man has some cool, non-violent way to…
…slice his gusts open with his axe (which the toy actually came with). On the next page the people rejoice saying He-Man “slew” the monster. This makes me think of something. Gods he can take out with one laser shot. Monsters go down with one swing of his axe or sword. Yet relatively normal dudes like Skeletor is a prolonged battle. Like I said before, Eternia is weird.
Head over to Spacebooger.com before Sunday night and vote for your favorite Friday Night Fight. Winners of the 12 rounds will be entered into the Prize Fight, so feel free to join in. We could use the competition.
